As of August 1, 2011, if a house requires touch up painting of any kind, the homeowner is required to choose a new color scheme and paint the entire house.

The new color schemes were adopted by the Board of Directors in 2008.  Please inspect your home to see if any areas of your residence look chipped, weather-beaten, faded, stained or discolored.  If you note any of the previous conditions, it is time to repaint your entire home.  This includes stucco planters, trellises, gazebos, gates, arbors and patio covers.

There are a few steps you must take prior to painting, you are required to:

1) Choose from a new approved color scheme.

2) Submit an Architectural Application to Northwood Pointe.

3) Receive written approval from Northwood Pointe prior to beginning the project.

An architectural application can be obtained at or by clicking the links below.

Fee Schedule:
Custom Color Scheme or Minor Changes - $62.50
Approved Color Scheme - $0

Homeowners can check out the color palette books from the Canyonwood Gatehouse or view the approved color palette book at Dunn-Edwards Paints, 13662 Newport Ave., Tustin, CA 92780 (714-731-4113).  The color palette schemes can also be viewed online at the Dunn Edwards website.  Please note that the online color palettes can be used as a reference or starting point but will not show a perfect representation of each color.  Please visit the store to view the color chips and/or purchase a sample.
